Ökonomisch vielfach ein Wahnsinn, entstehen hier Weine mit Tiefe, Kraft, Opulenz und leider oft auch einem grossen Alkoholgehalt. Heute ist ihr Ziel es, trotz Dürre, 50 Grad im Rebberg oder auch mal Frost, die pure Eleganz ins Glas zu bekommen. Sie kämpft gegen die unsinnigen Regeln alter Männer, welche immer noch «einen hohen Alkoholgehalt» als Qualitätsgarant sehen.
